Slick IM

Free Windows Mobile IMs are hard to find – but here’s a decent one: Slick isn’t pretty, and it’s a bit difficult to navigate… but it does the trick! And it features all the IMs you could possibly want: AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, Gtalk, and Jabber (okay, no IRC… but IRC on your phone? Really?).

It features:

  • Text messaging (including emoticons)
  • Alerts – sound, backlight, vibration, notify window displaying number of new messages
  • Group and buddy management (add, delete, rename)
  • Message history
  • File transfer – send and receive files
  • Sending / receiving offline messages
