AT&T is reported to be launching the Samsung Jack – the successor to the BlackJack and BlackJack II – as early as next week. The Jack is best known as a competent messaging phone, but I have personally never been wowed by this device. The new one sports the same full QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2-megapixel camera, WiFi, BT, aGPS and WinMo 6.1. Still no touch screen…
Of note here, perhaps, is that it will be available in a WinMo 6.5 flavour once it is officially released. Anyone been desperately waiting for the next version in Samsung’s most successful smartphone line?
