Iconsoft Phone Extension is an app for WinMo touchscreen devices and it’s a new type of user interface for managing the main functions of a telephone, built on the basis of the Iconsoft Mobile Engine. The app makes your UI look vaguely like that of the iPhone’s which isn’t a terrible thing. Other features include:

This is a really sweet app for the PPC that brings some Iphone functionality and plugs the holes in Windows 5-6. For instance when someone calls, instead of that tiny incoming caller picture, you get one that fills up the screen. I really like the call log and large buttons when you are talking to someone so its easy to press. I hate a cluttered today screen, so their clean tool bar interface works for me. While I love/hate windows, I do enjoy the functionality but hate having to pull out my stylus every time I need to do something. This product really helps to end my stylus battle.
I own an HTC Touch Diamond and love tweaking my phone – let’s face it Windows Mobile 6.1 GUI is boring! One of my recent finds is Phone Extension 1.3.5 (or PhonEx) and so far I have to say this is the BEST third party Phone Dialer/ Contacts app for Pocket PC devices that I have found. Comparing it to Inesoft’s Phone 4 and Resco’s new Contact Manager, there is no comparison. The GUI is sharp and clean; all the features work as they should; and BEST of all- when you select Missed Calls from your TF3D Home screen, it will bring you to the PhonEx Missed Calls page. lol Lee and Michael, i tried the warez version on my xperia the first day it arrived, I fell in love with phonex extension so much that i bought it the same time from iconsoft, to all winmo users.
this app completes any winmo touchscreen device, if you dont have it, get it right away.
only disadvantage it that it has no video call capabilities
