Samsung i907 Epix comes to AT&T

Comments

The Samsung i907 – or the Epix as it’s known to those of us who love really cool names – is now for sale at AT&T. The specs on this phone are great: Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro, touchscreen with haptic feedback, optical mouse, 2.0MP camera, Video Share, WiFi, GPS, and it’s going (both online and in stores) for a cool $199 with a contract and after a mail-in rebate.

Check out the AT&T site for more info on the Samsung i907 (Epix)!

This is the phone I have been waiting for since I saw it around CES and then at MIX08 in person. Was extremely sad when it had no US 3G bands.

Now this version comes out – SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!

    One handed operation FTW

I love my BlackJack II and would have a hard time getting used to a Diamond Pro – heck, new Treo Pro thing would be better for me.

I can type with my left or right hand on a BlackJack II without looking at the screen most of the time. Beat that ’slider’ users!
And if you have an onscreen keyboard, well you can’t even type your name fast on your screen.

    This phone is gonna rock!

PS: Oh and on top of that it has a freakking MOUSE pointer!

It really is a sexy, sexy phone! Though, I’m really on the fence about whether or not I like this keyboard style.

I use a BlackBerry on occasion (I swear, it’s not mine!) and I really do prefer my slide out QWERTY on my HTC TyTN. But hey, to each their own, right?

I, on the other hand, could really get used to the Pro, heh. I want one NOW!

The mouse pointer is WAY cool, for sure.

Funny how Samsung puts out the thinnest & nearly thickest devices (Nokia probably wins on thickness front. I will never forget the N91’s crazyness). I wonder if the design groups are at odds & this is their passive aggressive method of displaying that
